Patricia Mello insists on Jan Tana Competition Tanning Lotion - "I leave nothing to chance in my pre contest preparation: I prefer Jan Tana Tanning Lotions above all others - in fact it is the only thing I will use. Before any competition I use Jan Tana Pre Tan  body scrub and shave ALL HAIR that will be visible. I use the ON STAGE COLOR Tan for 2-3 nights before competition (washing off the excess each morning) one final coat the morning of the show. Be sure to have plenty of latex gloves available- no one wants to see brown/orange palms - and try & get someone willing to help you get your back thoroughly and evenly tanned .
